This image shows a solar study, an accurate depiction of sunlight and shadow, for a house designed by design collective. This drawing shows the sun’s position at 2pm on summer solstice. We can produce a fairly accurate indication of the light and shadow at any time for a given location. Usually we show these as still images, though sometimes record animations showing the changing sunlight over days or seasons.
