After leaving DNA I was contracted to review their report of the Lelawaglia School. By grouping similar work and phasing the renovations so that each successive phase uses and builds on the one before renovations and repairs can be made to be much more efficient and cost effective. The Lelawaglia School is a complex building. It is located in a remote area prone to flooding, is raised above the flood plane on stilts, includes a helicopter landing pad, and acts as a post-disaster structure for it’s surrounding community.
