While at Pechet + Robb Studio Ltd. I worked on the initial design concepts for the redevelopment of Granville Street. We imagined lifting the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame’s stars out of the sidewalk and into the sky. We produced studies of new types of streetlights making playful displays of light along a street that was, in the 1950’s one of the world’s largest displays of neon signs. We helped create vision for what was emerging as Vancouver’s Entertainment District.
