This PLACE architect ltd. project examines the development potential of a steeply sloping lot with a creek nearby. The language of West Vancouver’s zoning bylaw pushes the creek setback well into the usual buildable area. We diagrammed the various encumbrances on site and evaluated potential sites for the expansion of a large single family home and examined possibilities for accessory buildings.
